These are all from Wuffy’s first camping trip in May 2009 (I am so behind!!)
This was at Hayfiled C&CC site in derbyshire, it was the hottest weekend of the entire year!! We all loved it. We also camped in Scotland in July and North Yorkshire in August and I will post a couple from those trips as well maybe in a few months!!!

Oh, that brings back our camping trips, before I got too old and stiff to lie on the ground! It looks as if you all had a good time. Nice weather certainly helps!

David and I used to camp for every holiday, then about 12 years ago we stopped. The main reason for stopping was that my back could not cope with camping, all that bending down to cook and sitting on the floor was just too much for me. So when we decided to camp again I had a wish list
tent you could stand up in
table and chairs
proper cooking area
and whilst it wasn’t on the original wish list we bought a tent carpet and it was so wonderful that we boguht another and cut it down for the bedrooms. I have pictures of them which I will drag off the computer.

Wow, that’s camping in STYLE!! I’d better not show our kids this post since I make everyone eat on the floor and sleep without a pad, LOL.
